Station 3 was dispatched to the area of West Central Avenue and Summit Avenue for an auto accident, reported as a vehicle vs. a telephone pole.

Micu 3-3, Engine 3-5, and Utility quickly responded. Deputy 3 arrived on location and confirmed the report of one vehicle vs. a telephone pole.

While on location, Deputy 3 was advised that Tower 3 was being dispatched to assist East Whiteland Township with a gas leak inside a residence in Atwater Village. Tower 3 responded with Engine 3-5 shortly behind.

Crews found an overheated battery in an electric vehicle to be the cause of the odor of gas in the residence.
