| Because both PFC engines were undergoing maintenance, Berwyn Fire Company was added to the initial dispatch. E2-2, E2-3 and E3-5 all responded within 2 minutes. Due to the proximity of the incident to the county border Newtown Square Fire Company was also dispatched by Delaware County. AC3 arrived and reported an unoccupied car well involved in fire with exposure to power lines. Companies worked together to extinguish the fire and mitigate hazards from a ruptured and burning fuel tank. Special thanks to the Easttown Township Police Department for assisting on scene. |
