Last night at approximately 10 pm, The building fire assignment was dispatched for a commercial property on Chestnet Rd. in Paoli. PFC along with mutual aid units from Berwyn Fire Company, Malvern Fire Company, East Whiteland Fire Company, Newtown Square Fire Company, Good Will Fire Company #2 of West Chester & Radnor Fire Company EMS responded. MICU 3-1, Engine 3-1 and Berwyn Engine 2-2 arrived within minutes of dispatch to find a one-story stand-alone restaurant with heavy fire throughout the dining area and kitchen. Crew initiated an offensive interior fire attack and coordinated ventilation to bring the blaze under control within 30 minutes, with extensive overhaul. No injuries were reported.
