Fire in tirst response area: Just after midnight Paoli Fire Company, as well as mutual aide departments from Berwyn Fire Company (Rit team assignment), Malvern Fire Company, East Whiteland Fire Department, for a house fire located in 50 Block of West Cen

Assistant 3 made the response and was advised that Tredyffrin Township Police were on location reporting a working fire on the 2nd floor.
Assistant 3 arrived on location and confirmed the report from the Police and requested the working Fire. Engine 3-1 responded with 4 personnel and arrived and stretched an 1.75 line to the 2nd floor.
Engine 5 established a supply line to Engine 3-1.
Malvern Fire and East Whiteland assisted Engine
3-1's crew with fire suppression, checking for extension in the residence and the adjacent residence. The fire was placed under control: under 20 minutes. 1 subject was evaluated by Micu 3-3 and refused transport.

The fire is currently under investigation by the Chester County Fire Marshals office.
